Dr. Kelly has been in practice for 25 years, and lecturing for 20 years. He is a DC and started to practice in 1975. He presently practices part time, teaches and directs programs at The American Academy of Manual and Physical Medicine.

Dr William J. Kelly graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Kelly owned one of the largest full service chiropractic clinics in the nation and established the first multi-disciplinary clinic offering chiropractic, physical therapy, rehabilitation, medicine and surgical services in Florida in the mid-1970's.

He is a "Fellow" in the International College of Chiropractors, "Fellow" in the Academy of Certified Diagnostic Physicians, "Diplomate" in the American Academy of Pain Management, and Board Certified in Personal Injury and Spinal Trauma. Other credentials include: past Torch Member of the A.C.A. Council on Roentgenology, Orthopedics, Nutrition, Athletic Injuries, Council on Diagnosis of Internal Disorders and certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia.

Dr. Kelly was the President and founder of the Physicians Academy School of Advanced Diagnostic and Clinical Procedures. He is also a past postgraduate continuing education faculty member at Parker College of Chiropractic, Assistant Professor at The University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic, the American Academy of Manual and Physical Medicine, and Doctors Hospital of New Boston. He has been a featured speaker at many state and national chiropractic association conventions and colleges as well as being and internationally published author, educator and lecturer.

For over 60 years Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) has been well documented as a clinically effective method to treat chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions. DC's certified in MUA are being invited by hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and pain management groups to join their organizations to better serve the needs of patients with chronic conditions.
